Coronavirus update

January 2021

Laverstock is now closed following the latest government announcement, we have been in touch with guests who currently have bookings with us to re-arrange these.

We cannot wait to welcome guests back to West Dorset and all our tariffs and availability are updated for bookings this year. If you book directly through our website and you later have to cancel your holiday due to covid we are happy to move your stay with us to an alternative date, please be aware that the tariff may not necessarily be the same depending on when this is.   Should Laverstock be forced to close due to Government restrictions we can also offer guests a full refund for their stay.

We would ask that all guests follow the government advice when travelling in the UK https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus.

We look forward to welcoming guests for a country escape in 2021.

December 2020

We are so pleased that following the government announcement we are able to re-open Laverstock on December 2nd 2020.

We are looking forward to welcoming guests back to our Peaceful Corner of Dorset.  In line with current government guidelines we are able to welcome guests from tier 1 and 2 areas.  We would ask that all guests follow the government advice when travelling in the UK https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus.

We are now busy making preparations for Christmas and New Year, and cannot wait to welcome guests who are going to be spending this special time with us.

November 2020

After a wonderful summer where we were able to welcome guests back to Laverstock Farm, and feeling like life was gradually returning back to normal, we are now sadly closing our doors from the 5th November.

If you have a booking that falls within this time frame, we want to reassure you that we will take all the necessary steps to help you rearrange your stay.  We would really appreciate if you get in touch with us via email, as we are extremely busy.  We will update you with further information as soon as we can.

If you booked directly through our website we are happy to move your stay with us to an alternative date, please be aware that the tariff may not necessarily be the same depending on when this is.   We can also offer guests a full refund for their stay.  Please contact us via email on office@laverstockfarm.co.uk to arrange a date change or refund.

If you have booked your stay with us through airbnb or booking.com you need to make contact with them directly as you have booked through their terms and conditions and they hold your funds, not us.  You are welcome to change your dates, however be aware that tariffs may differ depending on the season.

Thank you to all our lovely guests who came to stay this summer, and enjoyed all that West Dorset has to offer, we can’t wait to welcome you back.

We thank you so much for your patience at this challenging time.

October 2020

The situation with coronavirus is constantly changing, and we continue to monitor this and review our policies and procedures accordingly.

We are offering a full refund if Laverstock is closed due to legislation relating to coronavirus.  If you are living in an area with a local lockdown or have another coronavirus related issue, please contact us.  We are assessing each individual case and will hope to carry forward your stay to 2021 if you are unable to come.  If your booking has been made indirectly via canopy and stars/air bnb/booking.com please contact them as they hold your funds and have their own policies in place.

We will only allow a maximum number of strictly 6 guests in Laverstock Cottage due to the current government legislation: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-meeting-with-others-safely-social-distancing/coronavirus-covid-19-meeting-with-others-safely-social-distancing .

Extra precautions are being taken in the shared washroom including hand sanitiser and additional cleaning.   It is regrettable that we have had to close the shared Games room to guests for the time being and hope to open this facility again in 2021.

Check in is now from 4pm to allow housekeepers additional time to prepare properties.  All properties will be double cleaned, first cleaned with detergents, and then disinfected.
